Bench grinding wheels we offer our own brand or Norton / Flexovit.
Brown aluminium oxide wheels are for general purpose grade is referred to as “A” in the menu selection. lower the grit number the coarser the grade.
Green Silicon wheels are for harder materials such as HSS & carbide for used for re-sharpening of tools and many other applications. These wheels are referred to as 39C or GC in the menu selection.
All Norton wheels are supplied to order please allow 3-4 days for delivery. Our own wheel are normally in stock.
Bench Grinding wheels are for your standard bench & pedestal grinding machines. Wheels can be blue, brown or green in colour. the Blue & the brown are the same aluminium oxide grain but fired at different temperatures making them different colours. There are now more brown wheels on the market then there are blue. Those listed here are brown. Brown aluminium oxide is a hard wearing grain for general purpose grinding.
Green silicon wheels are made from silicon carbide, these are sharp grains which are used on hard materials. Green wheel grades are 39C & GC in the drop down menu.

All wheels with a 32mm bore are supplied with a reduction bush 32/20 to adapt the product to different spindle sizes. If you require a different size bush please advise in the comments on your order.
Truing of the wheel is recommended before use.
